Earrings

This pair of filigree design, light blue tulip shape earrings is made of sterling silver and enamel.

This jewel is a small series, handdrawn and then cast piece, each earring is about 30 mm long and 20 mm wide. Thanks to the kidney wire clasps you won't have to worry about losing these pieces!

What makes it especially beautiful is the lacey tulip design which, when cast into this beautiful sterling silver jewel, is really light weight, simple and gorgeous.

Necklace

The pendant is about 33 mm long and 21 mm wide. Although, we call it "large" that is because compared to the other pieces of the artist, Rea, this is a relatively bigger piece, this is still a small, filigree piece on a neck.

How to take care of it

These earrings are made of sterling silver so that means that they turnish. From time to time, you may wish to clean it with silver dusting cloth, silver cleaning liquid or with toothpaste.

Please note

  • these earrings are fragile
  • never take a bath/shower with your jewelry on because moist is harmful even to noble metals
  • when you take it off, keep your jewelry in the darkest, driest area of your home to maintain its original beauty for a long time

About The Artist

Rea is an award winning sterling silver jewel artist. She colours the beautiful, filigree, tendril pattern and arched motif silver jewellery with enamel. The end result is ethereal! In designing her jewellery she considers folk traditions as a starting point. With her work, she would like to contribute to maintaining the aesthetics mediated by folk object culture in our world of technology and uniformism.

It is very difficult to work enamel into sterling silver due to technological difficulties which makes this kind of jewellery very rare.

Here in Intuita shop, we have not met yet another artist who fuses enamel with sterling silver. The reason it is so rare is that enamel starts to melt at a lower degree (750-850 degrees Celcius) than silver (961.8 degree Celcius). That means that you have to be incredibly cautios and attentive so that the two material don't melt together into a big mess.
