This true authentic piece of jewelry is made with the traditional enamelling technique. What I love about it is that is looks liquid even though it is not.

The poison green shade enamel and the twirly snail shape copper wire are a very pleasing combination. It somehow reminds me of the illustrations from a folklore fairy tale book.

An authentic pattern is painted within the enamel with a lighter shade , making the pattern even more interesting.

The pendant is 5.5 cm long sits beautifully on a 40 cm long dark green leather cord with an additional 4 cm extension chain to adjust its size.

The color green is full of balance and harmony

From a color psychology perspective, it’s the color green, that puts heart and emotions in balance, and equals head and heart. The green color is an emotionally positive color, which gives us the ability to love and care for ourselves and others unconditionally. As a natural peacemaker, green avoids the tendency to be a martyr. The color green loves to observe, is a good listener and counselor, and would make a good social worker. Green loves to contribute to society. It likes to work with charity and is a good parent and a helpful neighbor.

How to care for this necklace

This beauty is made of enamel on copper with a leather cord. Over a couple of years, the beautiful reddish copper can turn dark, kind of black and it can also turnish. To clean it, apply some ketchup (yes, you read it correctly, ketchup!) on a cloth and wipe the jewel with it.

If you ever need to, you may clean the cord with any leather cleaning formula.

This jewel should not need any maintanance if you follow the golden rules of jewelry-keeping below.

Please note

  • this jewel is fragile
  • you should spray your perfume on 20 minutes prior to putting on your accessories
  • never take a bath/shower with your jewelry on because moist is harmful even to noble metals
  • when you take it off, keep your jewelry in the darkest, driest area of your home to maintain its original beauty for a long time
