8 Things I Love To Do As A Local In Budapest
Posted by Intuita Shop on
Budapest, like all other capitals is in a constant state of change. I'm at an awe of how beautiful my home town is and working in a touristic area, I feel like I get to experience the city from the tourists' point of view, as well!
Many times people come into our stores and ask me what I recommend them to do while they are here so I gathered things that hopefully you'll agree with (or if you haven't tried them yet, you can get some new ideas for your bucket list!). These are also things that I love doing and do as often as my time allows me to!

Must see in Budapest: The Parliament
Posted by Intuita Shop on
Of course, since we are an art site and art blog, I must start the demonstration of the Hungarian Parliament with a beautiful watercolor illustration!
This beautiful building was designed by Imre Steindl, a Hungarian architect who unfortunately went blind before his masterpiece was finished.
Constructions started in 1885 and it was completed in 1904.

Must See in Budapest: Váci Street
Posted by Intuita Shop on
Váci Street in downtown Budapest is one of the world’s most attractive pedestrian shopping streets not only according to Hungarians.
The street received 76 points out of 100, outrunning well-known pedestrian streets of Paris, Amsterdam, and Milan. So if you visit Budapest do take a walk along this famous downtown street. I always joke about it to our offline customers in Intuita Shop, comparing our Váci street to the famous Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills :) The truth is, I think the similarities end at both being pedestrian shopping streets :)
